Education in Zambia
Recently, each of you wrote a letter to a student in Mwandi Village, Zambia, a friendly letter telling a little bit about yourself, your school, and perhaps your family and friends. In return, you received a letter from a student in the Basic School telling you about him/herself. The exchange of letters was a very powerful experience for the Mwandi children. English is a second language for the Mwandi students, and written English even more difficult, but they all eagerly wrote back as your voice was one of few that most of them will ever "hear" from the United States, or possibly even from a distance of more than 15 or 20 miles.
